Novena for Terminally/Chronically Ill

There have been so many in our circle suffering from chronic and in some cases terminal illness.  So I found it appropriate to combine our prayer forces in hopes of a miracle for these individuals in our lives.  Thank you for joining me, and it is my fervent hope that all of the men, women and children will be healed and live long, fulfilling, Christ-filled lives!

About St. Peregrine

Since he was Beatified on 9/11/1702 I found it fitting to begin this Novena on that day.  Additionally, Eldon is planned to have surgery on the 19th so we would finish this Novena on that day.  (The family is hoping he'll be in sooner!)




St. Peregrine Novena

Oh great Saint Peregrine,
you, who have been called "The Mighty"
and "The Wonder-Worker"
because of the numerous miracles
which you have obtained from God
for those who have had recourse to you.
For so many years you bore in your own flesh
this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being,
and who had recourse to the source of all grace
when the power of man could do no more.
You were favored with the vision of Jesus
coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction.
Ask of God and Our Lady,
the cure of these sick persons whom we entrust to you.
